I don't know if this has been discussed, if so I missed it. Is that our John Floyd who was in the paper for drunk driving?

Looks like it. Although it was a "PHYSICAL CONTROL WHILE OVI" charge, which, as I just learned, is apparently sitting drunk in the driver's seat with the keys, but not "operating" or making the car go.
Even more interesting, it looks like he's had seven or so visits from Johnny Law for various other "events" in the past couple years. Some petty, but still rather numerous.

Maybe I should stop calling him Opie and start referring to him as "Otis Campbell"?

If Floyd transfers I'll buy everyone a round...that'd be the best news imaginable.

Is wrong with Floyd?

He never stuck me as the kind of guy to routinley get in this kind of trouble. Is he asking to be sent packing by DD? We just don't need this kind of crap. Golly John, get your head in gear.
