....yeah, and the exhibitions, too. It's good to watch these types of games b/c it's an opportunity to see the bench players play a lot of minutes.

I'm ready for some BG hoops too. I just hope we can finally move forward this season. I am growing very tired of losing seasons and players leaving the program. Enough is enough - let's get back to the way BG hoops is supposed to be!

I'm excited too. I was in Anderson this past week and I felt like heading over to 'my spot' to warm it up, but I didn't. Hoops n Halloween can't be much more than 3 weeks away. I'm okay with this year being a buliding year as long as they work hard and get better each week, and I am sure they will.

No doubt. We've been down long enough. This is the worst stretch we've had in basketball in at least a decade and its lasted long enough. I'm ready for a breakout year.

In 1993-94, we were picked to finish 7th in the MAC (then a 10 school league). We finished 2nd. The team wore t-shirts to practice that year that had something printed on them about being picked 7th to remind them everyday in practice what they were trying to prove wrong. They did. They proved everyone wrong and made a heck of a run that year. We lost a heartbreaker to Miami in Columbus in the MAC semifinals that year, 61-59. Tough loss, no doubt, but we had a great season despite being picked low.

I believe they have done away with exhibition games. I heard that the NCAA doesn't allow teams to have them anymore. Someone correct me if that is untrue though.

They have done away with exhibition games against non-collegiate opponents. Check this link
