This certainly should make Hammb happy. For the first time in who knows how long the majority of the men's basketball team won't be composed of extremely slow unathletic white guys. I hope John has success with school and being a coach for St. Johns JV b-ball.

falconboy...what does race have to do with this? There are alot of slow unathletic black players out ther...most of them have been acquired by Isaih Thomas to play for the Knicks, but there are some in the MAC too.

Why...if you close your eyes really tightly and think really hard, you might even be able to imagine an athletic white guy

Okay, first relax your butt cheeks, before this gets out of hand. I've seen plenty of athletic white guys on the baskestball court. Its just we rarely see them play here at BG. Maybe I should've said slow unathletic guys period.

I'll thank you to leave my butt cheeks out of your public and private musings...

This won't help with our recruiting at St. Johns

I don't think flippers desire to leave his butt cheeks out of public discussion will have that much of an affect on our recruiting at St. Johns. We may lose a player or two but thats it.

Have you ever seen Flipper's butt cheeks? This will hurt us more than you realize.

:-D

Actually, I think this will give us zero chance of getting Jakubowski.

Seriously guys, the last two guy that the Johnny Boys had that were worth recruiting to BG were Raymond and Hillesland. Hillesland is a kid who does nothing great, but EVERYTHING solid and he's at Notre Dame. Right place, Right time sort of thing and some excellent camps.

Raymond and his overrated game are much more suited for the Xavier program and I'm perfectly fine with him being there. As for as much hype as the kid got, I saw him get outplayed more than once in Savage by kids from rival City League teams.

Brian Roberts was a shoot first PG that thankfully chose UD over us as well.

Lastly, Jakubowski is not the ANSWER to what we need. The last thing we need is yes a unathletic guard that needs the ball in his hands to be effective. No, thank you, we just got rid of that guy. The difference is Jakubowski has a more consistent jumper and is a legit 4-5 inches taller. He's about 6'3".

While we're on the topic of recruiting, does this season really play that big of a role into whether Dan comes back or not? I would think that that decision has already been made on some level. Just guessing, maybe. Because if he's not, then why is he offering scholarships to kids that he won't be here to coach?

Because one signs to play for a college, not a coach.
