Best case scenario. Dakich brings this team together, we win alot and go to the tourney.
2nd best. dakich leaves midseason, Lamonta is named the interim coach and we see if he should be brought back long term.

First year AD fires long-time coach mid-season? Keep dreamin'.

i think if needed he should, to put his foot down and show that he isnt messing around. If dakich doesnt do the job i would love for christopher to bounce dakich from the program, that would show me that he wants to win and not be scared of big bad danny d.

A brief glimpse at Lamonta as an HC is better than nothing

You guys are confusing the words "should" and "will".

Yep...there's always the things we "should" do and then there's the things that we can or will do.
I suspect Dan will scratch and claw until the last second of the last game to stay in this thing. It wil be interesting to see if this year's team checks out on him. It could get ugly if they hit january and the kids decide to pack it in with the hope that someone better will be along next season.

Flipper, that didnt happen last year, or the year before when we got "snuck up on" on our senior night. Seems to me kids have quit on Dak in the past, so why would that change this year, his final year.

Because we're finally healthy! Except for our center who can barely walk but provides 50% of the 50% of the Senior leadership Dan was counting on last spring

We have a roster full of horses. I wait for the season with bated breath, almost fully expecting pathological Dan to find a way to f$%# things up again by driving players away or leaving them to rot on the bench.

for all you guys who post but have no idea... Guerin will be the starting PG for BG this year. He had surgery two+ weeks ago but should be healthy by the start of the season. Watch the team at practice. As of now Bland and Sims are DIII guards. Sorry but thats the truth.

So we'll start the DII guard...ugh.
This team is in shambles. Thank you Dan!

I don't have a whole lot of confidence in Guerin. He works hard and is very active defesnively...but I can't see him running the point for a decent MAC team

Well, then, it's a good thing he plays for us.
I don't like to be negative. I couldn't pass on that one.
