Sunday afternoon, Prep Spotlight learned that one of the top 10 players from the state of Michigan walked into the basketball office's at Bowling Green and said "this is where I want to be."

You're obviously talking about me!! You can send me 5 bucks now.rollalongFF0304 wrote:I just learned that one of the top ten awesomest people in the world is a graduate student at BGSU.
Send me five bucks and I'll tell you who it is.
Let's name our new recruit, "Player X."
BTW, saw you at the start of half-time on Saturday Dan. I "merged" into the flow just ahead of you and when I turned back to say something to you, you were gone. That's a good trick! You've got to teach me that sometime!

Checking on Insiders this is the only guy from MI they have us as having offered:
http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=337& ... id=1307094
He's 4* guy and would probably mark the best recruit to come to BG for basketball in my time following the team. And he's an athletic forward...a HUGE need for us.
Of course with offers from MSU & Dayton on his table, its hard to fathom he would've committed to us so early, but I can dream right?

I saw him too, but it looked like he had narrowed his choices to Ohio State and Depaul.hammb wrote:Checking on Insiders this is the only guy from MI they have us as having offered:

According to Rivals . . . Chandler is down to DePaul and Ohio State, but only Ohio State is mentioned in articles on theInsiders. Honestly, this is the only name I thought of when he said "top 10 Michigan guy" . . . He's rated in the top 25 SFs in the nation and would seemingly provide immediate help despite his frail frame.
I think the "curious" part of me would ask Mr. Chandler, if it is him, what some of the factors were in his decision making process so that we can bring in more talent around him and who was the bigger influence in the decision . . . LaMonta Stone or Dan Dakich? Or perhaps, you're seeing how quickly $4.4 Million shows up in recruiting . . . Remember the Sebo Athletic Center will be used by all sports and not just football.

Okay who is it??????
Is it this Chandler dude or this Lional guy thats committed to us? This would be amazing if we are indeed getting a top ten player from Michigan to come here. Surprising indeed if its true. Does anyone have actualy and real conformation yet? Is this guy a real 4 star player?? Ohio St. would seem more like the kind of school he'd be really be looking at. You all know what happend with this dude we thought would be playing last year. You know the top ten small forward in Ohio? I forget his name.
