An Urban Christmas Carole
It was gettin' near Christmas
We were out in the park
Shootin' some hoops
It was just before dark
You know how it is
Its always the same
We only had seven
One man short for a game
When to our surprise
This guy walks through the gate
Sez 'I'm lookin' for a game
Before its too late"
The dude only stood
'Bout five foot and a half
He was fat with a beard
So we started to laugh
Too Tall said "Not on my team'
He's too short and too slow"
I said "We'll take him.
Throw the ball in, Let's go."
He tied his black boots
While we laced up our 'Boks
He was dressed all in red
With fur trim and white socks
To start off the game
The pass went to Too Tall
He went up for the slam
The fat guy blocked the ball
Scooped it up on the run
And we all saw what happened
The dude was amazin'
And I'm not just rappin'
He dribbled to mid-court
Then soared through the air
Did a 720 jam
With much room to spare
He stuck a long J
Then a double clutch flip
The game was no contest
We won 15-zip
Then to our amazement
An old sleigh appeared
Driven by an elf
And pulled by eight deer
The old guy got in
And then turned to Too Tall
And he said "This is my rule
When you play basketball
Now listen to me
And listen good, punk!
Don't ever tell no one
That Santa can't dunk!
