….for several reasons. One, it’s a “real” game and not a scrimmage or exhibition. This one counts most – in the win/loss column, and those games are always important and goes without saying. But two, after looking at our next opponent which is a road trip to Arkansas State, they will have played five games before facing BG which will only have played two. ASU will have already played two exhibition games and three games against Clemson, Old Dominion and Monmouth before hosting BG which will only have played Capital in an exhibition and Denison in a regular season game. We need to make the most out of the Denison game to prepare for an interesting early season road trip for this new-look BG team.
