I was glad to see that all four of them basically talked about how hard Dakich makes the kids work and that is what they wanted. I don't want to hear any of them complaining after they have been here for a year or so.

Also, is it just me or does it sound like we have four guys that could all play the same position? They are all 6'5" to 6'8", and averaged about 18-19 points and 10-12 rebounds a game. Seems like when you have five scholarships available, you would spread around the talent you go after. I will trust the coach to know what he is doing, but it seems like PG is a position we would really be going after too.

But this was clearly our biggest need with absolutely NOBODY on the roster (barring a healthy Germaine Fitch) that can actually play this role. Last year we got lit up by the athletic forwards in the MAC, and unless there is a rapid improvement I would expect to see it again. We needed somebody in the 6-6 range that could d-up a good forward, get some boards, and then do the same thing for us on the offensive end that ate us up last year.

I believe Floyd has 3 years left, right? The Freshman just came in from Chicago will have 4 years. They'll be 1-2 at PG for awhile, and Wright can play the position if needed. I think what we really need is somebody else to play the 4/5 combo role and another 2. Right now we only really have Vandermeer & LeFeld for future years in the post...I would imagine that they project one of these recruits to bulk up a little and be a 4.

If it were me I'd be looking for a legit scoring & defensive 2 or a guy who I think can play the 4/5 role.

I forgot about Floyd. I was just thinking that Stephen isn't a true PG and the other guy is somebody that was still around until the summer. So a lot of schools past him over. You are right, we should be ok at PG. I would focus on getting a #2. Somebody that will shoot about 60% from behind the arc!

"My mom told me, 'The ball is your food, and if you don't get it you'll go hungry for a while,'●" Sullivan said. "I go get rebounds like I'm going to get food to eat. That's why I like being known as a hard worker."

I love that quote! Something our team was lacking big time last year was rebounding so if we get guys in here that are willing to go after the ball, then sign them up!

It's funny to see how many people were doubting DD at one point. He obviously still knows what he is doing IMO and could turn this program around if he keeps picking up great recruits!

This article got me fired up with excitement!!! Man I wish these guys were already here! I hope the last guy we add is a good one too. I can't wait until they sign! Good news like this about BG hoops is promising and it's just great to finally have some positive vibes surrounding the team.
