Simms/Dusan
Simms/Dusan
Why only 5 minutes played for Simms and Dusan played almost the whole game?
Why ask a question only the coach knows?

Because of the whatifs????orangeandbrown wrote:Yeah, we got your point. But why ask a question only the coach would know.
The reason for low playing time may have little to do with ability, and someone here may know the reason why. In fact that exact question may have been asked by someone at a press conference.
What if Simms was injured, Others than the coach would know that.
What if Simms was being penalized because of some off the court actions. Others would know that.
What if Simms had not properly picked up the playbook yet, Dakich could have mentioned that.
To dismiss this question is borderline idiotic.
As Hammb and I observed several times last year, ok, I won't speak for him, but from my observations, there are very few D-1 qualities to Dusan's game, in general.
BTW, in case anyone wants to keep tabs on a local product. Scott HS graduate, Grant Maxey played sixth man for Jackson State the other night against Memphis scoring 10 and contributing 6 rebounds against the top 15 team. Of course, those dreadlocked/cornrows prevented him from getting a look from BGSU even after dominating Ryan Sims in two Indiana/Ohio All Star games.
Here's to hoping Chris Knight shows up as advertised next year.
