There are a lot of questions about these two and why they are not getting playing time. As far as Sullivan goes I can't say. All the players and media are close mouth.
Sims on the other hand is a little bit open. Rumor has it that DD found out that this team won 17 games not 20, he was not ranked 4th as far as "Mr. Basketball" of IN was concerned. He scored 19.1 points/game and did not appear on the top rebounders, assist leaders or steal leaders per game in the area.
Are these true??? I will look into it but that may be the reason for him sitting.
The question is if these rumors are correct who checks the information given to BG and if they are "exaggerated" who’s to blame.

Once the kid is here I don't think any one gives a damn about what he did or didn't do in HS.

Rarely does Bowling Green have a freshman come in and make an impact. We are probably seeing that in this situation. Simms is very small, and has no college experience. He is fast so it gives him a chance to be good in the future. Sullivan is an undersized 4 man who is inexperienced also. He is not a super athlete, shooter, ball handler, or passer. He is an average freshman 4 man in the MAC. People tend to hype up every new guy the program gets, but in reality the freshman usually do not do much.
no way

commonsense I can think of a few frosh who have come in and contributed right away... only now there wearing other teams jerseys now. This is just a observation from my viewpoint and I would like to how many fellow hoops fans agree. Ron Lewis essentially was replaced by Martin Samarco, Austin Montgomery (avg 17 a gam at IUPUI) was replaced by Moten or Clements, and Vandermeer was replaced supposedly by Polk and Larson. Does anyone out there think we won out on any of those deals?
Until the AD looks at the talent of players leaving versus what is incoming this program has no chance to COMPETE let alone compete in the MAC. People we lost to FURMAN and we are defending them here on these boards. You guys can argue about how good the 2nd best team from the SoCon is I'll stick to watching big boy basketball, something I thought we used to be, and shouldnt be settling for anything below.

If DD "found out" the team won 17 games instead of 20, that's his fault. I highly doubt that is true. More likely, there is just an adjustment period to college ball.
