Exactly, our loss to Furman was very respectable and we had a chance to win the game down the stretch.
I know that it's early, I really feel like the game this past Saturday against South Alabama, is exactly what this team needs... HELLO!! South Alabama...an NCAA Tournament team from last year....Four Starters averaging double figures. It's a great confidence builder for our team.
I honestly think that those of you that believe we will struggle to win 10 games this year are out of your mind. In fact, I think this team is continuing to grow as a unit and will be much improved for MAC play. I even saw some minor improvements out of Dusan in the USA game.
Also, once we get Nate Miller suited up, this becomes a very deep team, that plays good defense and works hard on both ends of the floor.
Ok, there's my rant. I can't help it. What I see on the court this year, is much different than what I saw last year.

Re: Furman
Not to be the SEC police, but saying Vandy is in the SEC Conference (SouthEastern Conference Conference) is just like saying BG is in the MAC Conference. A little redundant saying conference twice, that is all.OSUFALCON wrote:Furman which beat us on our home court does the same thing tonight to Vandy (SEC Conf.). Toledo plays at Vandy on Sat..
Hey Orangebrown... you may think the "Furman" talk has gotten out of control...but what has gotten out of control is the talk that our schedule isn't any good. Furman and South Alabama are as good as any top 2 MAC schools and both will be in NIT or NCAA. By the way why did Florida play West Carolina in football this year again? Why do people give us crap about playing Florida International or a 1AA school once in awhile when a top 5 team does it? Just curious why no one got on them.

Playing the 1-AA team is one reason Florida will not be going to the National Championship.cowboyjoe wrote:By the way why did Florida play West Carolina in football this year again?
