Scouting Report

Is the scouting report out on Samarco... No threes and no free throws and Martin is a very big liabilty out there. He plays little to no D but is our best player. He needs to attack the rim more which just might not be his game. I forsee a lot more low scoring games for him, the threes he took today were not his normal wide open nothing but net threes, he forced them and he missed them. I know anyone can have a bad game but judging by the post game quotes from rand he summed it up nice. Maybe DD will get some "commonsense" and become more creative on the offensive end.

You are hitting my whole point to what is wrong with the program. DD has absolutely no commonsense. That is the problem with everything here.

Collegedropout...are you crazy? Samarco is a scoring machine and will be a first team all MAC player. I forsee every game over 20 points for him and would be willing to wager anything on it. Good luck on rooting against him.

cowboyjoe,
I think you are right about Samarco being a tremendous player. I personally think on a very good team he is the 2nd leading scorer. I do not think he can create well enough for himself to be the leading scorer on an above average team. To be perfectly honest with you guys the last time we had a guy who I think is good enough to be a leading scorer on an above average team was Reimold. I know you guys are going to say that he cannot create for himself either but I will counter that by saying Reimold was tall enough and strong enough to body people and get his shots that way. But trust me I am glad we have Samarco because hell we lose him we do not win more than 3 games.
I also will take that bet because every player is going to have an off game.

Samarco is a warrior. He had a bad day today---that happens to shooters. But he would have been a good player on any Falcon team any of us ever watched.

orangeandbrown,
Never said he would not be a good player because I too think he would. I just do not think he would be a leading scorer on a good team

I know. I was mostly disputing some earlier statements.
