Nice game. As coach notes (in conceding that Northern Colorado isn't a top tier team in the MAC), we need to improve our rebounding and our offensive attack.

A nice win! Regardless of record, the bottom line is wins and losses. Right now, we've got more wins than losses! Good job Falcons!

Absolutely. I didn't mean to complain. It is a good win, and I'm pleased we are sitting at 6-3.

UNC lost to Colorado by 2, Arizona State by 2...I think they're better than their record indicates.

They lost by some whopping margins early. On 11/11, they lost by 39 at Ball State. Later, although failing to win games, kept it reasonable against decent opponents. Most of their losses have been within 10, however.

And they lost by 40 something to BSU.

They were not a very good team, at least not tonight.

BG started off sluggish. Hamblet got hot and we went on a big run. Then the rest of the game was a whole lotta nothing. I think Dan is going for the record for most subs in a game. I swear he subs somebody in every time there is a horn.

The game was boring as hell. We cannot rebound & we only have 2 people capable of scoring right now. Still it's a win, and all wins are good.

Hammbone, if this means that he's finally using his bench, then this is exactly what we all want him to do, right????

By the way, what were your impressions of Nate Miller?

Rumor has it that Coach Brandon gave a pregame speech to his alma mater to help fire up UNC.

Any truth to the rumor that he also gave a talk at half time?

He didn't really play his bench though. He'd put somebody in then pull them like 2 seconds later. Polk, in particular, kept going in & out, but LeFeld ending up getting the bulk of the minutes down the stretch. It was just wierd and made no sense the way he was subbing guys.

I just think you have to let guys play for a stretch to see them play in some sort of rythmn.

Nate did some good things, but looked a little tentative tonight...maybe a little nervous on his first time. Missed a couple of layups. Did grab a board or two, which for this team seems to be an accomplishment.

You know Hammb, there's a perfectly good solution to that problem.
