Ray Mernagh (HIPHOP) had emergency surgery Wednesday in Pittsburg.

He's doing well, and should make a full recovery w/ time.

If anybody feels like it, I'm sure he'd appreciate a "hello" via e-mail.

He doesn't know I'm posting this....and I hope he doesn't mind.

I wondered why he hadn't posted to hoopwise in awhile. I bet it was the thought of having to go to Akron to sign books that did him in...

I got this email from his wife today:

"I just wanted to let everyone know that Ray had emergency surgery recently and is hospitalized for about 2 weeks. He's on the road to recovery, but cannot answer emails for a little while. I'm actually checking his emails for him but he just wanted to let as many people know as possible why he's dropped out of sight and off the web. Please pass it on and enjoy the holidays."
