Miami is tough at their place, and I have a bad feeling about the game. But I'll go with Falcons on this one.

BG - 62
Miami(OH) - 58

Hamblet and Marschall in double figures to help Samarco in this one.

Go Falcons!

Charlie vs Dan, this game will likely be low scoring. I don't know if we'll have enough. Normally I'd think the team will bounce back from 2 tough losses, but Miami is a tough task at their place.

I think we lose this one, but keep it closer than the past 2. Another blowout would send some real strong messages about the actual quality of this team.

Should be some interesting match-ups in this one...

Miller versus Tim Pollitz
Smarco versus Peavy (two of the MAC's top scorers)

There was a lot of talk about the Pollitz twins coming to BG out of Ottawa-Glandorf a few years back. Now we can see if we go the better number 3 in Miller. The other twin, Eric, doesn't seem to be much of a factor.

Redhawks are coming off a 17-point whipping at Buffalo.

Miami 68
BG 60

I've seen MU play twice: their losses to Michigan and Cincinnati. I know this isn't news, but man do the RedHawks bust their rumps on defense. Coles has them slapping on the D and keeping the point totals low.

Their main point guard is a talented freshman, Alex Moosman. They don't have a lot of depth and their outside shooters are very streaky.

They scrap for rebounds but they aren't very athletic. They have a lousy record partly because they are not very good and partly because they have played a really tough schedule. I'm sure this game is one MU thinks they have to win. Millet Hall was buzzing for Michigan, it will be interesting to see how it is tonight.

I haven't seen BG play this year. Tonight will be my first time. I'm looking forward to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the score was a football score: Something like 42-35.

GO BG!

Love Charlie Coles!

Love our Falcons more though...

I think this one will end in a tie.

64-64 ;-)

We suck... please beat us... beat us badly... we haven't scored more than 60 points all month I doubt we will start now.

Please talk to charlie... engage him in conversation... he may be a wonderful man... but I hate him as a coach!

Speaking as a Redhawk.... you are out of your mind. Charlie Coles for Archbishop. He is a miracle worker. Nathan Peavey is a very good player. Mooseman is awesome. Monty St. Clair is tough. This is a classic defense minded Miami team.

Speaking as a Falcon. I went to the UD-Miami game and it was very close, but the Redhawks gave up two 14 pt. leads. They just got bitch-slapped by Buffalo at Buffalo. I think, even with home court advantage, Miami comes up on the short end tonight. I am pulling for the Falcons.

Miami by 10 on a bunch of late freethrows.

Final Score -- Miami 22, BG 12.

this game will be tough. i wasn't at the game on sunday so i don't know what happened in the 2nd half. hopefully that 2nd half doesn't roll over into this game. i think we'll play better and win a close one.

A ridiculously low-scoring game, thanks to a soaked floor after the roof opens up and some pipes burst. Miami(OH) is all alone on a breakaway with an easy layup for the win, and the kid slips and falls on his azz.

BG wins 10-9.

:-D

One of the Pollitz twins slips on some sweat and blows a late free throw. BG wins 51-50.

Ellis gets his revenge!!!!

Don't be silly, Flipper... the Pollitz Twins can walk on water, certainly they wouldn't let a little sweat get in their way.

I saw the spread of this game was MIAMI, Oh by 13.5. Seemed a stiff spread if you ask me.

My prediction is one technical on Dakich.
