Omen for Keith?

I noticed Keith has taken number 20 on his uniform for the Pacers. I believe this is the first time he has taken his old college number since he has been in the pros. Maybe it will bring him luck?
Go Pacers!

Don't know about any omens...but he didn't play AT ALL in their game yesterday....and they had TWELVE players who did.

I think I read somewhere that Keith is on IR with an abdominal strain or something like that. Others probably know more about that in detail, but I'm sure he will get some significant playing time when he returns.

Keith's not on the IR, but he's hurt. He's got an abdominal strain and likely won't play until about mid-February.
As far as the number, I thought it was 20, as well. That's what the Pacers website says. But ESPN.com and foxsports.com both say 44.

I saw that 44 thing, too. But the roster they have on the wall of the Pacers' practice facility has him in #20. I tend to believe them.
Besides, ESPN has been too busy this weekend naming everyone and their brother head coach of the Steelers. Hell, according to them, *I* got the job for a brief moment around 5am yesterday.

Today's Indy Star reported that Keith participated in some 5 on 5 drills this week, and should be cleared for full-contact by the end of the week. He'll compete with Darrell Armstrong for the back-up spot behind Jamaal Tinsley.

Keith made his Indiana debut tonight, 0-1 shooting in five minutes of play... looks like I can start paying attention to the Pacers now...
Oh, and for those interested in making a roadie down to see him play, the alumni chapter here is supposedly trying to work on a "night at the Pacers" deal, and there are a handful of games that the Pacers are selling $4 tickets for. They're probably up high, but not terrible seats if the price of an NBA ticket on top of a drive to Indy is a deterrent. I'd guess their website has more info on those. (One of the games I know is Feb. 21, a Wednesday)
