BG falls again....

.......this time to WMU 72-63. That's eight, count 'em, eight, losses in a row to WMU and four losses in a row in Anderson Arena to the Broncos. WTF?! When oh when are we ever going to get things turned around? The MAC is just kicking our ass and it looks like it's going to be another losing season. BG is now 1-5 in the MAC and is a three-point heave from Samarco at the buzzer vs. Buffalo away from being 0-6. Next up, another road trip, this time to CMU.

I'm not as disappointed with tonight's performance as I have been with others. Tonight we were the better team for thirty minutes. Unfortunately they were the better team for the ten minutes that counted. Samarco needs to start hitting some shots.

Honestly, I think we could've played better D.

Too many fouls in the second half >_< ... Like BGSU33 said, we were the better team for at least the first half. WMU just took advantage of our mistakes in the second.

Blahbiity Blahbity wasn't as disappointed blah-blah blah blah better for 30 minutes a blah blah blahbity blah capitalized on our blah mistakes blah yadda blah blah.

Whatever. Losing is losing. We're sucking. We lost at home to Western goddammed Michigan. NEXT.

The problem with this team is they don't freaking score. They played the entire first half as if they were totally dominant. If you were watching the game and not paying attention to the score you'd have thought we were up 10. Instead we were up 1.

Until this team gets some sort of offensive scheme where they don't go 5 minute stretches without scoring they'll never win. It's been the same s**t for 5 years now.

Not only do we suck we're boring as hell to watch, and you have to park 3/4 of a mile away to watch it. People wonder why our attendance sucks? The product is lousy and they make it a chore to partake in it.

Oh well, I'll be back again for more punishment, I'm sure.

We were at the Gymboree in Ann Arbor doing some clothes shopping for our five year old daughter...it sounds like Pam and I had more fun than y'all

I was at a beta test site with a client watching a $2,000 scanning device fail to scan VIN barcodes thru GM windshields. Beats the sh!t out of spending the evening at AA, thatsfirshir.

I was at the Community Center working out with a bunch of overweight middle aged women trying to make good on their New Year's resolution at least through January. Yep, I think I had a better time too.

Naaah, it's always fun. Otherwise us die-hards wouldn't keep going. Maybe it's just the commentary I get to enjoy sitting with Hammb and John and JimmyZ... but even in an AWFUL loss like tonight, I'd rather be in Anderson Arena than just about anywhere else. ESPECIALLY Gymboree... ugh...

I stayed home to watch the women's game on the web. I never thought i'd see the day when watching the women's team win by 30 on webcast was more exciting than being in AA for the men. This was a very disappointing result, especially given the Kent game. These are the games that need to be won if we want to not be in the cellar.

Despite the plethora of reasons to dread going to Anderson Arena, I still strangely enjoy going to the games.

That's 12 of our last 13 MAC games, dating back to last season.

Anyone else notice all six MAC games tonight were won by the roadies?

Update: Probably not, since it was 5 out of 6.

There was actually one point in time during the second half tonight when it got quite loud in there. Those few and far between moments are the reason I keep going.
