Everyone knows that UT fans call BG fans "farmers", "hicks", etc.

Recent UT news had Dr Jacobs, the univeristy's new president, breaking his ankle. First off, I wish him a speedy recovery. A broken ankle is no fun especially for a gent in advanced years. I wish, however, to present you the news release. Read carefully. I will add emphasis:

UT News wrote:UT President Lloyd Jacobs will require orthopedic surgery after slipping on ice and breaking his ankle in several places on Sunday while at his Michigan farm, where he was checking on a recently born calf.

UT's new president is also a cow farmer.

It appears as though UT fans will have the mmmmooooooooooove past that stereotype!

To summarize:

Dr. Jacobs, Doctor and cow farmer.

Dr. Ribeau, Trustee, Member of multiple boards of directors and dazzling urbanite.

Toledo fans also often reek of elderberries.

He broke an ankle looking at his calf? Man, what a klutz....

He was cow tipping.

I am stunned and disappointed no one picked up on my Mel Brooks line.

Of course, a better effort would have been to cite Mr. Brooks' effort with UT's new marketing slogan:
