Important Stretch

Well, things have been not so good lately. Looking ahead at our schedule, now is our opportunity to put something together. @ NIU, Eastern, @ Buffalo, @ Moorehead State. Four very winnable games against teams with similar or lower RPI ratings than us. A nice four game winning streak could propel us to a strong finish with 16 or 17 wins heading into the MAC tourney. Something less than that and we may finish about 12-18.

I have trouble saying ANY away game is winable for this team...let alone all three. NIU, Buffalo and Morehead are all saying to thermsleves..."We got a chance at a win here. We have a team struggling coming into our place. We are due for a win."

I'm just saying we are at the tipping point. If we lose three or four of these games, we are toast. The season is over. If we can win three or four, we can get this swung around in our favor and ty to gather some momentum for the home stretch.

Warthog, I hear you. But we haven't won a MAC road game since the Kent game last season, and realistically, a 2-2 split would be decent. I wish I saw evidence we were ready to make a run like that....

2-2 tells me this team is just languishing. They have to win 3 oh these games to make me believe we are headed in the right direction. Just my opinion. You have to win games, home or away. These are beatable teams.
