In fairness, police have said that Keith was there, but was not involved.

Though I cringed when I first heard this when I got up this morning. This is two strikes in about four months for Tinsley and Daniels. I hope Keith wises up and picks his "entertainment companions" a little better in the future. He's expendable enough in the grand scheme of things that just being in the wrong place at the wrong time again can make him a cheap and easy scapegoat on the waiver wire.

Based on the story TG posted:
Police say Pacers guard Keith McLeod was inside the Tremors nightclub but was not involved.
He might not have even been out WITH those other guys. In any event, suspend Tinsley!!!!

The Pacers make the Bengals look like a bunch of sissies.

On-court brawls, shooting strippers, stealing coats when it's below zero out. They are setting a good example.
I should have clarified that, yes, Keith was at the bar, but was not involved in the police investigation. But he did get plenty of publicity in the ESPN piece.
And I was joking, sort of, about the Pacers/Bengals things.

Given the recent Amechi-gay deal, I hope Tremors isn't another name for a hummer and it turns out that it is a gay bar.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I had a co-worker who's a Bengals fan yesterday read some article with next year's Super Bowl odds posted. I asked if the Bengals odds were "15-to-20", and he replies "uh, no, uh... 12-1. better than the Seahawks"
Silly Bengals fans... just don't get it.

I'm sure the pacers are just pressing to try to pick up the legal slack left by the departure of Court TV all-star, Stephen Jackson.

I truly hope that Keith wasn't involved, but according to the ESPN.com story...
Witnesses told officers that McLeod shoved people during the scuffle.
Also worth addressing since nobody has mentioned it yet, is the fact that Keith's cousin, Jeremy King, was part of the entourage at the bar and was directly involved in the physical altercation. Per ESPN...
"[The bar manager] stated that Mr. Tinsley, with a closed fist, struck him on the left side of the head, knocking him to his knees. He stated Mr. Daniels and Mr. King also began to use closed fists, striking him in the face," the police report states.
Tinsley, Daniels, and McLeod are all denying involvement, so I have a feeling this story is far from over...

Was Jeremy King on a BG roster at one time???
Also reported that the manager suffered damage to his earlobe- possibly separated from his head.

Dayons...
Good call. The Mens Basketball archives does contain record of a Jeremy King, a 6'6", 200 pound forward from Toledo Scott. King apparently was a member of the team at the same time as Keith.

Anyone know if this is the same "Jeremy King"?

Whether he's involved or not, he's keeping some questionable company at the very least!

The news reports still say that McLeod is not under investigation, however the police report makes it sound like he's not too far out of the clear of the situation...

And judging by that, Jeremy King *does* look to be the one that played at BG.

Indictments were handed out in relation to this incident today, McLeod was NOT indicted for any involvement and was essentially cleared in the case. Tinsley faces felony charges and (Marquis) Daniels is facing misdemeanors.
