Did any of you read the letter Bill Wammes had in the Sentinel tonight. He said he is part of the SILENT MAJORITY that thinks Dakich should keep up the good work and he is looking forward to having him here as the Men's Basketball Coach for many years to come.
What the #*&%!!!!!!!! Another year like this and Bill will be the only one at the games!!! Who's going to the Men's game tomorrow and who is staying home to watch the Women at 12:30 on Fox Sports Ohio??? I'm going to the Men's game late - after the Women's game. I have Season tickets and they are getting as hard to give away as Hockey tickets. It's Pathetic!!!!!!!!
Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the letter?

I'm looking forward to having my tea party next year. I've invited Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and a friendly, non-threatening lesbian.

Sounds like an interesting Party!!!! I just saw on ESPN that the Hockey team beat Michigan tonight. I guess even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while!!!!!!

I saw the letter and laughed at the "silent majority" as well. There was a letter a week or so ago from a Mr. Thomas (can't remember his first name right now) where he compared the men's and women's program. He was spot on with about 10 different points.

I think we all want to see Dan do well here...the difference for some of us is that they want him to succeed so badly that they let that desire cloud their view of reality.
For all I know Christopher is going to give Dan another shot...he may look at the budgets we wrok with and the facilities we play in and figure he won't find anyone better.
I tend to doubt that, but I'm setting aside the same small corner of my brain to deal with that possibility that Scott Paluch in 07/08 occupies.
Another down season in football will take up my entire cerebral cortex...

Wammes is a close friend to the program and the Coach. He makes the world famous cheeseburgers DD always promotes. If you read the story on the Falcons crazy trip to Green Bay, you will see Wammes volunteering to drive equipment to the game himself.
I'm not sure there is a silent majority out there, really, but I admire Wammes' loyalty to his friend.

Those cheeseburgers are WAY overrated, they're really not that good.

I sincerely hope that was a Chasing Amy reference, if so you made my day.

Yup -- all figments of our f***ing imagination. Just like Dan Dakich as the coach of the BG falcons after this year.
I was hoping somebody would catch it.
