The Buffalo game might be the final nail in the coffin for DD. But what if BG wins their final games and wins the tournament. What does the AD do then?

IF that were to happen, there is no way Christopher would let Dakich go.

If that were to happen, then GC would probably feel obligated to give DD a one year extension to see whther it was a fluke or not. I would be in favor of that, but chances are we will not win the tourney.

Hey buddy, no need to worry about stuff like that.Why? Cuz its not happening. Yeah it would make for an interesting end of the season if DD were able to get the team to rattle off a bunch of wins in the Mac Tourney and get into the NCAA's but in honesty , but in the end who really think thats has a chance of happening?

I'm not completely sure of this, but I believe by this time last year Stan had allready started his win barrage to late in Mac Tourney. Right now there's not enough games left to pull off a "Stan Joplin" like last year anyway.

I believe Falconboy is right, UT had started winning by this point last year. On top of that they were a team that was expected to play much better than they had up till that point; they finally started playing to their potential. BG, OTOH, just doesn't have the talent to match up with the best teams in the MAC.

We could finally start playing to our potential and win a couple games down the stretch, but this team just doesn't have the talent to go on that kind of run...they'd have to play WAY above their heads for a number of games in a row; that's asking quite a bit.

It would take a small miracle for this team to make a run in the tournament. Even if they did I don't know that it would be enough to save Dan's job at this point. From his comments the other night I get the impression that Christopher is not a real fan of Dan or his style.

Well, I think the precident has been set, that he'll call up Rick Chryst first and see what he says about it.

My optimism in these sort of circumstances is usually my demise. I don't see this team making a miracle run in the MAC Tourney. I just don't see it. But, I am encouraged that we have hit 90 points in the last two games. So I gotta take this thing on a game by game basis. Morehead St. is not exactly a juggernaut. If we beat OU this Wednesday, I may start thinking about it.

Of course we would score 90 in back to back road games, depriving me of my free fries...
