There have been hopes of a strong finish. Nothing like another thorough ass cleaning at home to keep us grounded. :D

Yeah, this stinks. That's our 2nd 20+ point drubbing at home in conference play this year.

I think I made the right decision to not go to AA tonight. That would have been a lot of unnecessary frustration.

Coach on post-game:

* Embarrassment
* Men against boys
* Awful
* I can't let up on these guys at all. If I'm not a raving maniac this is the performance we get.
* We worked for two days on the zone, and we looked like we had never seen one before.
* Terrible

Coach Dakich summed it up pretty well.
Nate Miller played hard, it's a joy watching him.
OU really impressed me. I know we're not Florida or anything but the bobcats looked really good. I think the tournament is gonna come down to Akron, UT, Kent St, and I'm including Ohio in there too.

I note that Otis Polk is entering Craig Rogers territory-five fouls in seven minutes. I think Craig got 1 a minute for four minutes once but Stan had the decency to pull him before he picked up number five.

Yeah, that about sums it up. A short and simple way to sum things up too tonight was UGLY. That was one of the worst performances (or lack there of) I have seen out of us yet in quite awhile. We jumped out ahead 6-0 on a pair of threes and things were looking good early, then, the roof caved in. It was total domination by OU. They seemed like they were running a lay-up and jump shooting clinic out there on us and just seemed to be toying with us most of the game. They found way too easy of looks all night while we seemed to dribble up top waiting, waiting and waiting before we forced up a bunch of tough shots with the shot clock winding down. Many of our turnovers seemed unforced with passes either sailing over players’ heads, and there were even a few passes to no one that ended up either out of bounds or going the other way for OU. We just got punished tonight, just simply dominated on our home floor. What another long ride home. Between football and basketball, or pretty much any of our men’s teams the last few years, it seems every ride home is like that anymore.

Ugh. I saw the score last night and just shook my head. It's over for the season and, I'm afraid, Coach D. There is no way this can continue.

I'm still taking the Freaklings to the Akron game Sat. Probably will be my last time seeing Coach D on the sidelines in person. :( And I don't expect us to stay within 25 of the Zips. They're better than Ohio. :shock:

Sad ending.

In the Akron game at Anderson a few months back I think we played the best, most complete game we did all year. We were very good in the first half, and we played decent the second half.

Problem is Akron is light year's better than us and even with us on top of our game, and being at Anderson we lost by twenty something.

We've gotten worse since then and this game is at the JAR. I'm not liking our chances in that one.

I don't think it will be pretty. :(

Especially since Akron got beat last night - they'll be ready
