If this is the end of the Dakich era I am glad both Dan and the Seniors were able to get one final win in Anderson Arena. Now it's on to Cleveland.

The game....

I honestly gave it a good thought about going over and checking out the 2nd half but I couldn't bring myself to it.

I think you need a vacation. Or some heavy medication. Probably both.

What a hell of a game today! Hamblet was on FIRE, we executed on both ends of the court, and Otis proved that he is going to be an absolute monster in this conference. I loved what Dakich did with OP today in making him focus on defense and setting picks on the offensive end. He looked more focused and poised without having to worry about trying to take it to the hoop. That will come as he matures, but it was great to see him dominate down low defensively!

I don't know about Falconboy, but I can't wait to see this team in Cleveland on Wednesday!

Great game and a terrific way for the seniors to go out at Anderson Arena!! I was pretty pleased with the crowd because it was much bigger crowd than I had anticipated. Thank you to BG as a community for supporting the team.

I am so proud of this team for how they played today and for earning that win. I wasn't sure they could do it with some of the officiating calls, although I must say seeing Dakich go and shoot a layup to prove his points to the officials was pretty entertaining.

I also greatly appreciated Dakich's speeches during Senior Night. He was most appreciative to all of the fans for sticking by them and sticking around to see today's game. He also had all the senior cheerleaders, dance team, and band members come out and get recognized, which showed that he does appreciate them. In his recognition of the seniors, he was flattering. It was a great honor to see them and we will miss both Matt and Martin next year.

Great job today Falcons...now let's go kick some butt in Cleveland!!!

Hmmm....

Don't really know what everybody is so orgasmic over , but okay we did win, but the same ole problems we have had the entire year still exist so I don't know why everyone will think this will be the thing that sends us into a massive win streak. I honestly do hope we can pull off a miracle and win the Mac Tourney but I'm not holding my breath in the slightest.

Jesus, Francis!

No one's talking about a "massive win streak" here, they're excited for a team that's had it's struggles (their own and otherwise) finally finishing a close game and getting a win. The Redhawk body isn't even cold yet, enjoy the damn W!!!!!

As for winning the MAC tourney... it's likely the longest of longshots, but A) crazier things have happened, and B) going in there with a win under our belts and some confidence (especially if we face the same Miami team in the first round) is a good thing. And with the bulk of the team returning next year, getting a win, or at least showing well at the tournament can be a spark for next year.

ROLL ALONG BITCHES!!!!

falconboy...this team had every reason to fold the tents and mail it in. They didn't do that. They came out and played 40 minutes of solid, team basketball. If you can't appreciate that as one of those special kind of moments that makes college athletics worth watching....I don't know why you bother.

There are times you just need to learn when not to press that reply button. That was one of them.

Truly amazing game today! Congrats to the team for getting a win in the final home game! That was just incredible to watch them finally come together as a team and actually make shots!

Special day for Lefeld to get a win in his last appearance at AA -- he certainly deserved it. Nice stones, boys.

I'm Metz, Flipper, etc. It was a great win for our team, and I am glad I was there to see it.

Let's just ignore the other one.
