Lebron hit what seemed like the game winner at the buzzer and their coach rushed the team off the court. Very similar to what happened with BG. Except I am sure the refs said hang on guys, dont get in the showers yet. We need to check this out

doesnt change the fact that a pro coach had his players run off the court just like Dakich did.

No? If the shot doesn't count, it's a tie game and there's still 5 minutes left (OT).
Besides, wanting to hit the showers and get out of Detroit is a much, much more valid reason than wanting to beat a blizzard.

To be fair, the Pistons home court is nowhere near Detroit, way up in Auburn Hills. Not that it makes it any better though.

AUburn hills is really nice...just about anything north of saaaayyy 12 mile road is good.
Even the stuff to the west around 8 mile like Northville and Plymouth are good. Detroit itself isn't even that bad anymore because most of the people have left...it's just miles and miles of desolation and neglect. Kind of like the moon

my in laws live 5 min. from the Palace. It's a pretty nice area. You're right about the comparison. Major difference this time of the year is that the moon is probably warmer!

I used to have to work at a Home Depot off of 7 mile as a sales rep for a supplier to Home Depot. I also worked all over Detroit and the surrounding suburbs, downtown is still awful, there are a lot of abandonded buildings and the neighborhoods off of 7 mile and surrounding areas are very impovershed. I used to park my car at a co workers house in plymouth and ride with him in his "beater" because the places we used to work in were bad areas and someone broke in his "nice" car one day at work. I chalked it up to statistics, he thought it was because his accord was new. Even though the accord is one of the most stolen vehicles...
After typing this I have realized that this post adds nothing to the thread, oh well
