What does tomorrow bring...

Post by kollege stewdent »

Good name for a song.
Remember any coaching change will bring one of three things. A better coach than DD (I would think that this would not be hard to find) the same coaching style and philosophy as DD, or a worse coach than DD. (They are out there).
But with that said if DD stays or goes I think that next years team will be better than this year’s only if we recruit well.
At the 1 we will have Hamblet (All around player. I hope he can avoid shoulder surgery in the off season) & Clements (No “D” at all + 19 assists and 33 TO in conference!). A BIG drop off in quality from the starter to the bench.
Moton (2 assist in 16 conference games is just sad) and Sims at the 2. Chris Knight at the 3. (If his grades stay strong this guy should surprise everyone). We need a back up at this position unless Hamblet can swing over.
Our strongest position is the 4 with Miller (Nate…practice foul shooting please) and Marshall. Eric may get some playing time at the 5. He needs to stay healthy.
And Polk at the 5 (maybe some ballet to help move those feet).
Dusan, what I have heard, will not be back next year. The coaches talked him into coming back this year but he most likely will not be back next. (I can only hope…not a big fan of the Dus) Larson is also up in the air as far as coming back. We shall see.
This will leave us with 4 scholarships to give out with Bland, Sullivan, Samarco and Leifield being gone. Three if Dusan does decide to stay.

Good Luck to the BG Women

Akron…you got dogged!

Also to DD the best of luck either here or wherever you end up. We may have lost games but I can truly say that this has been a most entertaining season!

Any coach not named Dakich would be trying to run him out of the program anyways, not keep him in. Please don't say things like this without some proof behind them...you're getting my hopes up.

I have nothing against Dusan as a person, never met him, but he does not (and never has) deserve a Division 1 scholarship.
