Stone Silence

Post by BleedOrange »

Alright. What the hell? Coach Orr was announced a month ago and we haven't heard a peep about of the program since. We have 2-3 scholarships available, 2-3 coach positions open, and rumors about Rad and Guerin. Did Orr sign his contract and then go on a long vacation or something? Sheesh!

Stone Silence: 6'7", 210 lb. Projected as a collegiate 3. Out of Reading, Pa. Good athleticism, needs work on his jumper. Got 15 and 8 in a tough league last year and made All-District. His brother, Spooky, redshirted at Richard Bland University in Richmond last year. Good pickup for the Falcons.

I assume Lamonta Stone is still with the program. I know he's on the AD site.

Ray at Hoopwise appears to have info regarding Stone staying at BG. Judging by the context of the post, I'll assume he talked to Lamonta at the event in Pittsburgh.

Glad to hear Lamonta is staying on. Heard the kids all really like the new Coach. At the Women's Basketball banquet the other night I heard Dakich could go to New Mexico as an assistant or Virginia Tech.

I believe Alford has filled his staff at New Mexico.

I also believe that Coach Orr has filled one more position on his staff with the high school coach from Cincy Withrow that is a longtime friend. This is from a rather reliable source, who also is thinking that Lamonta is staying..
