New Convo Name

I was just thinking last night as the power was out and I was bored to death, about what the University would possibly call the new Convo center. My initial thought was that they would probably sell the naming rights to the center as a whole and then call the arena area something else. Who doesn't love the ring of the Anderson Arena at the Owens Corning Center? Or, is it possible that we won't see the new Anderson name go to the new convo?

It's entirely possible that the new building will be named for its largest benefactor.

As I posted a long time ago, if I were from BG and I somehow opted against suicide, I would court a rather large and succesful agricultural firm in nearby Maumee to see if they would like to cough up some major bucks in order to have their name placed right before the word Arena on the new mythical convo's signage.

I hope you've at least considered taking some profits on that one, Grant. I think the jig is up on ethanol...I'm not suggesting anyone liquidate, just reposition some profits...
I hope the largest corporate sponser isn't Zim's Crack Creme...ca you imagine how embarassing it would be to tell peole your heading over to the Crack Creme Center?

Speaking of The Andersons, I thought Stimmel's Market had a great beer selection, but the one at The Andersons is one of the best I've ever seen. Its damn near an entire wall of the store.

Hell, they even carry the gluten-free beers, which are the ones I can drink too much of. God bless them.

Stimmel's is an okay selection. It's the best in BG.
Anderson's & Joseph's Beverage Center have awesome selections though.

Talmadge... in a strip mall between Sylvania and Monroe, right across from the mall. Brian's right, they're the best place for booze in Toledo, I think that Anderson's at Monroe and Talmadge has a better beer selection, and maybe the Maumee Anderson's does too. You can't beat Joseph's for Wine and booze though!

Yeah, Anderson's might have an overall better selection, but there have been times when I found beers at Joseph's that I couldn't find at Anderson's, and vice versa, of course.
You're right on about the booze Grant. They have an awesome Scotch selection at Joseph's.
