I still don't know why we don't do something for Midnight Madness. That would be awesome.

Oh well, it allowed me to get up early and start my brewday :)

It would be sweet if Coach Orr has open practices the way Coach L did. What time do they the practice every day?

UK had Big Blue Madness Friday night. Its broadcast on TV, and folks camp out a week before to get tickets. They may have done this before, but this was the first time I've noticed them also introduce the womens team and let them shoot around a bit.

I think this would be awesome. I know there is the kickoff dinner but a practice/event at AA with both teams would probably be pretty well attended.

I think it would too. I wish someone would get something like this started again.

I didn't have a chance to sit and watch, but I walked through Anderson today during practice... walked across the "upper deck" that will be the Falcon Club pavilion this season. It was great to see...

One of the things I wrote to my wife in the very first letter/note I wrote to her was a list of things I loved.... on that list was "The rhythmic chirps of sneakers squeaking and the drumming of basketballs bouncing in an empty Anderson Arena..." I wrote that on November 1, 1989 and it hasn't changed at all....

If a sneaker chirps in an empty arena and there's no one to wear the sneaker (the arena's empty) or hear the chirp, did it really chirp? And she married you anyway? :-D

Sneakers can't chirp on their own! SOMEONE has to be wearing them. But, let's say that someone is DEAF?!?!?! THEN WHAT???

Yeah... She threw the letter out originally... fished it out of the garbage later that night and called me... the rest is history. ;-) *shrug*

If the sneakers chirped, then yes, they chirped. Whether or not someone was there to hear it has nothing to do with the fact that they chirped. Dammit.
