Article on men's hoops in today's paper. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but here it is...

So, it's an extremely slow day at work, and this article got me thinkin about how we'll do this season. I looked at our schedule, and checked out how the teams we play OOC this year, did last year. It breaks down like this:

Western Carolina (11-20)
Belmont (23-10)
Cincinnati (11-19)
Morehead St. (12-18 )
Temple (12-18 )
Duquesne (10-19)
Furman (15-16)
Oakland (19-14)
Northern Colorado (4-24)
Illinois St. (15-16)
Indiana St. (13-18 )
Eastern Illinois (10-20)
bracket buster game (TBD)

Granted, it's a different year, but going solely on these teams' records from last year, I'd say we go about 7-6 or 6-7.
I also feel the same way about our MAC slate. I'm thinkin 7-9 or 8-8 vs. the MAC and we finish 4th or maybe 3rd in the East.
I really think that Orr will breathe some serious life into our program and that we will be much better than people anticipate this season.
Any other thoughts?
