I "heard" from some kids I have in class, who know him personally, that he got in a bit of minor trouble over the summer. ( I teach at a rival school for his high school) I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I also saw him at the Akron game on Friday and he was moving up the stairs just fine at the Doyt!

Hmmm...seems strange to me that his punishment would be to sit out a meaningless exhibition game. Unless the trouble that he got into was REALLY MINOR, which maybe it was. It will be interesting to see if he goes against Western Carolina in Cincy on Friday.

Erik was hurt I was at the game and I heard him talking about it. Orr also said he was hurt and that Chris and Nate were going to have to rotate to that four spot until he gets back. Chris told me however that he should be ready this week hopefully he will. That nine points and six boards he got last year could make a difference.

Maybe it was an arm injury.

Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw him pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

My cousin's wife's brother who had a class with a prof of Marschell's said a classmate who knew somebody who used to be on the team said he was a wuss if he couldn't play after eating too much ice cream. I don't know for sure but this source line has been pretty accurate in the past.

Yeah. If he can finally learn to stay out of foul trouble, it could be more like 14 and 8.

I was being serious about the kids knowing him. They played AAU basketball together. But I see the point but I guess I'm just not seeing the humor. Take it for what it is, idle chat from some high school seniors to their favorite teacher (ME!!)
