According to the online roster, Matt Karaffa has made the roster as a walk on for the season.
Welcome aboard Matt!!
I understand there may be another roster change or two soon too... I thought there were 2 walk-ons who made the team. Have to keep an eye on that.

Quick thread hijack here, Grant. Tyler Rosenberg? I think, from Elmore? How did MAC schools miss this guy? He looked awfully good for Ashland- not All-MAC or anything but looks like he could have been a solid 3 for a lot of bigger schools.

Rosenberger was a big time scorer for Woodmore... just didn't have the body or athleticism is what Dakich told me... I don't know. I think he could have scored big-time in the MAC. One of those guys who comes off picks and just nails the jumper every time. *shrug* guess that's why we're not coaches nor talent scouts.

I was covering area athletics during this time and Rosenberg was outstanding. Now I was just in the area and did not have a larger snapshot of Ohio athletics but Rosenberg was outstanding in both Football and Basketball. In football he did not play his Junior year and then was the starting QB his senior year. One would think that if the football and basketball coaches would have looked at the big picture we could have tried him at both and see what he could do. (I am not sure there is a precedent for bringing in a 2 sport athlete under these auspices though) If I remember correctly Rosenberg shut down and outplayed Marschall in the playoffs there senior year.

I'll bet you know more about basketball than Dan knows about computers....

Well, while it was an exhibition, he made 8 of 9 against us and had 4 or 5 boards. Played OK defense. Clearly had good court smarts.

When yo say Dakich are yo referring to the Dakich that recruited John Floyd?
