Football is probably going to a bowl game, women's basketball is young and talented, and men's basketball and hockey are on winning streaks. It is a great time to be a Falcon fan!

Based on Gametracker, it looked to be a real team effort this afternoon. I think the leading scorer only had 17, but we put up 86. Excellent shooting percentage throughout the game. Bring on Cosby U!

How was attendance?

When's the last time the mens team scored enough to get free fries?

Edit: Fed. 24, 2007 when we lost to Akron 93-87

Were it not for us townie gray hairs and the balding, few would have witnessed this win. Students either went home or were too busy watching Obnoxious State.

Hey FF1 was there and he is beginning to resemble that remark!!! He was pumped about the home win after seeing them at Cincy.

I love the Media Guide....the House that's Orr's.

It changed to tacos and last year they also had to WIN with 85 or more.

The darn fine print.

CK looked ill or tired or both, but this team looks like fun. As an optimist and the fact that I couldn't stand to have to root against BG, I picked them to be 10-6 and 20-9 in our pool. No, I'm not a Cubs fan.

Another unnecessary change of tradition.

Fries > Tacos

But seriously, the game was great, the attendance was not. The other students I know in Offenhauer East didn't even feel like going out of their dorm building with the weather today. Imagine if football was playing at home today...yikes.

haha, or McDonald's is no longer a sponsor and Taco Bell now is.
:D I do wish we had fries again as well. Those rocked!

Your right. It is only the middle of November. That is sad. What will they say in January?

Tacos are so vastly superior to Fries it's not even funny.

Long live Free Tacos at 85!

I'll say this for tacos...the choice a man makes between a taco and a hot dog says a lot about him... :-)

I like to choose my tacos based on how the camel toe looks.

Attendance was very disappointing.

Still a fantastic game though.

As always, sage wisdom.

VERY impressive box score. The balanced scoring is awesome.

(Taco guy. For the record)

Anyway...

It was soooo much more fun to watch players running an offense for the purpose of scoring rather than for the purpose of running the offense itself. It was a relief to not be regularly running down the shot clock in search of the perfect shot just to throw up a piece of junk at the :03. The players seemed confident an unrestrained. Yet, the shot selection was good.

Chris Knight looked completely off yesterday, as if he was suffering from a cold. We controlled all 40 minutes of this game w/o a good contribution from him. That's a good sign.

I'm detecting a lot more 'tude out of Ryne Hamblet. I don't know if I like it. He did look extremely athletic, however, like a poor man's Scottie Pippin.

Otis Polk had 3 fouls in 6 minutes. He has made no progress at all since last year in this area. Whatever his potential, Polk is useless and will remain remain useless until he dramatically improves his fouling control. Is there any REAL evidence that he'll be anything more than a minor factor this season? Furthermore, he had 2 off-the-ball miscues that caused a turnover and almost cost another turnover.
