Tuesday, February 2nd?????
Also, the removal of Freshman of the year is stupid and moronic. A JUCO transfer is not the same as a freshman. Apples and Oranges dude.

What the heck!!! They changed the freshman of the year award to the Newcomer of the Year Award. That's a load of crap!!!! Our Chris Knight should have won it hands down. They gave it to Miami guard Kenny Hayes. I do not understand why they did away with the Freshman of the Year Award???

Take it with a grain of salt, it's not the MAC, just the MAC Report Online. Not sure how the MAC awards Freshman/Newcomer of the year, but nothing about this is official, even if it was end of the year awards. Just something to chat about with a month to play...

That's just our award, not the official MAC award. The MAC still gives out Freshman of the Year.
Of course that doesn't change our being moronic and stupid though.

Look, it's simple. Just add back FOTY and put Knight's name next to it so you guys don't look like dumbasses, alright? This is too easy not to do. I'll help you. Just copy, paste, and tweak in your style sheet stuff.

Agreed, a JUCO transfer is not the same as a freshmen. In Chris Knights case, we have a pretty old freshman. He is 21 years old already, and will be 24 his senior year. Many players are seniors at age 22. I think this is an incredible advantage for him.
