Who's Going to the Triple Header Saturday?

Saturday March 1st is a busy, busy day for BG Sports. The Falcons have three home games in less than 12 hours. It all kicks off with men's basketball vs. Kent State at 12:30, continues with women's basketball vs. Buffalo at 4, and the night ends with BG Hockey hosting defending national champion Michigan State at 7:35. And to top it all off, it is each sport's last regular season home game and senior day/night. So who is going to all three games Saturday? I know I am. It will be a long day but a fun filled one and a great way to sorta close the BG sports home schedule for the year (other than hockey who will host a home playoff series).

58,
Mrs. Freak is going to hang out with a friend from college all day so the Freaklings and I will be in BG by noon. Here's our schedule...
12:30-2:30: Watch the BG men upset Kent State!
2:30-3:30: Burgers at Al Mar Lanes
4:00-6:00: Watch Kate & Whitney lead BG to another win!!
6:00-7:00: breadsticks and calzones at Pollyeyes
7:00-10:00: Thoroughly enjoy watching the Icers beat the Egg Suckers!
10:00-12:30 AM: Listen to House Of Hair on 104.7 WIOT on the way home lamenting the fact we won't be in BG again until April for the spring game.
Now THAT'S the way to ROLL!!!
Hopefully I can win one of the 50/50's to help with expenses. LOL!
GO FALCONS IN EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!

Mike, I think I mentioned something to you on another thread about the special "alumni package"... $20 for all 3 games plus a wings/sub "meal" after the women's game at Mileti Alum Ctr. Joyce and I are coming along with 2 of our friends...staying overnite at Hol. Inn to relax a bit before the trip home. I'm sure Alum. website has the info if you didn't get it, but I can give you info too if you want...let me know.
BTW- an Early HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting (Age 40- Wow!- Feb.26)...How'd the surprise party go for you on Sat.? Joyce took me to the Holiday Inn-Westlake...all inclusive deal with dinner, breakfast etc. >>>only negative was too many "munchkins" in the pool...at least 50 or so...but a swim at 10pm did wonders for the ankle. Wish we could have made your party, but she'd planned this for quite awhile too. 8)

Barring a major change in plans, I'm not leaving BG until late Saturday night. All 3 of our teams deserve to finish their home regular seasons well, and they are deserving of our support.
With no disrespect to our women playing in the middle game, the men's basketball and hockey games are both going to be HUGE. Louis Orr and the men have a chance to pull off a truly landmark victory at home, one that could be program changing. And the hockey team has a chance to take out the defending national champions on home ice, not to mention beat the #6 ranked team in the nation.

Now THAT is a Falcon day! Freak-where do you usually sit at the BB games? I am sure I might hear you before I see you

- but I'll try to look you up! You can't miss us- Standing in the back row of orange seats section RR. No one behind FF1 to tell him "down in front" and rumbles therefore avoided!

BRAVO. Period. This is a HUGE wekend for all our teams. Money is tight right now so I'll pack some sandwiches in a cooler for the Freaklings and me but we'll still hit Al Mar Lanes after the women crush Buffalo.
aaf,
We usually sit in the student section since there are open seats and it's close to the floor. I see ff1 all the time on the other side.
GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
