Attendance figure seems way off again today

Yeah, another attendance thread, but this one isn’t a complaint about people not showing up, it’s the exact opposite. Not to overshadow the great win today, but when I saw the attendance figure of 1,464, I was left scratching my head. With the upper south bleachers blocked off we were informed our capacity is now about 3,700. Today, the upper and bottom sideline levels had a nice turnout. They weren’t full, but there were certainly more people in seats overall than there were empty seats. The upper corners did have very few in them. However, there is no way we had over 2,200 empty seats out of our 3,700 capacity today. That would mean out of the available seating, BG is saying only one-third of the available seating was occupied. How can that be? I would have guessed we had about 2,500 or so on hand. I would agree today that there were 1,000 – 1,200 open seats scattered throughout, but the attendance today was way closer to two-thirds full than two-thirds empty. I mean, are we counting the spectators that enter each entrance or just the ones in the front of the arena, or what? This seems to be the same with our football numbers, we always seem to come out way on the low end. Something just seems off with our attendance figures anymore and I feel like we are definitely selling ourselves way too short more often than not.
