Tough call, but both Knight & Jakubowski should be locks for All-MAC Freshman Team.
Chris Knight (10.7 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 1.1 apg, 26 starts)
- #22 in the MAC in scoring, #2 freshman scorer in the conference.
- #5 rebounder in the MAC, #1 freshman rebounder in the conference.
Joe Jakubowski (7.7 ppg, 3.1 apg, 2.7 rpg, 19 starts0
- #10 in the MAC in assists per game, #1 freshman in assists in the conference

As far as other BG candidates for All-MAC, I'd say Nate Miller has a shot at Second Team All-MAC, but if he falls short, he'll land on the Honorable Mention Team. If Brian Moton keeps playing as he has the past few weeks, he could also find himself on the Honorable Mention Team when all is said and done. While it wouldn't surprise me to see KSU's Jim Christian or WMU's Steve Hawkins get the MAC Coach of the Year, there's no doubt that Louis Orr belongs in that group considering what he's done with this team. He's essentially coaching a team of eight players, with no seniors, with wins over Kent State, Ohio and Miami, from a program coming off several years of frustrating seasons. Yeah I’m a huge BG fan, but that is not a bias thing to state. Anyone who has followed MAC/BG hoops knows what he has done (especially without the services of Hamblet and Marschall), has just been fantastic.
