Anyone headed to Miami on Sunday for the game? I know i'm going with 3 others. Would be cool to have some BG crowd. I know the game at Buffalo stunk but I have faith in them that they will turn it around for Sunday.

Is the basketball team going to be there??? The way this snow is going, I wouldn't be surprised if this game got postponed or whatnot. The Cincinasty Bearcats are having their away game tomorrow postponed because they can't fly out.

I would imagine that most BG fans will stay in BG for game 3 of the BG-LSSU hockey series if we lose tomorrow night's game. Road turnout in Oxford might depend a bit on whether our icers can close things out on Saturday. That being said, I hope we beat Miami and enter the tournament on a high note.

well we are going to both games. The men's game is at noon in Oxford. So leaving after the game to get back to BG for hockey (if necessary).

So I am about an hour North of Oxford, & we have a level 3 snow emergency- (no one is allowed on the roads). BBUUTT, its slowing down, and they are saying that the roads will should be able to be cleared by tonight. The team is supposed to be leaving BG soon... so I'm pretty sure the game will still be on. Are you guys making the trip all the way from BG?

Rumor is that the team left early and got there yesterday for Sunday's game.

The hills around Oxford are not a county priority, but they should be OK by game time. But I live on SR 127 and it is slick as glass Saturday night.
Friday night, the township between Oxford and sunny romantic Hamilton, had the rare and dreaded thundersnow.
I bet the parking lot at Millet will be a mess for quite a while. There'll be snow piled up around the light poles until May.
I was gonna go but I don't know if I can get out of the driveway.
Remember to spring forward or you'll get to the game late (or is it early?)
Go BG!!

yeah i figured i would check in the morning to see what the snow emergencies are for the county oxford is in. And yes we making the trip all the way from BG, this will seem short compared to the trip to Buffalo to see the team, lol

i know, it's crazy that you made that trip. what was it, like 5 1/2? this one should be much shorter.

hopefully we'll have some people make it there to cheer them boys on!
...ps- as of right now, my county & Butler (the county Miami is in) are the only ones still on a level three... hopefully that changes soon!

Thanks! We love going and supporting the teams. Yes it always ends us costing some money but I rather spend my money on going on falcon road trips then something stupid that I don't need! haha.
