"Wanted to tell you to let Falcon fans know to tune in to this season of the show The Bachelorette starting Monday May 19th. A former Falcon and good friend of mine Graham Bunn will be trying to win the heart of this pretty young lady. It should be interesting. Of course I had to turn down the offer from ABC as well as the offer by NBC to be Wolfman's stunt double on the new American Gladiators and CBS's Survivor; Brathaus! However next summer look for Lenny and I to star in a new series with Guy Fieri on the Food Network, "Fat Married Guys Eating Polleyes Breadsticks Until They Puke". Should be one for the ages! "

You could but a dozen Falcons on that show and I likely wouldn't watch, but that is one damn funny e-mail!

I love Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives." I keep thinking that Myle's or Pollyeye's would good additions to the show.

I love that show too, and have thought the same thing. Though I hate the episodes where he hits up the "gourmet diners". If the tables are clean and the food didn't once moo or turn into tasty bacon, get your own show.

I dunno, I like some of the gourmet diner type places. I'm intrigued by local eateries that make their food from scratch. They're my favorite type of places to eat, they'd be the type of restaurant I'd run if I were to ever do it, and it's fun to see local places that have survived for decades just because their food tastes good.

I think my favorite place I've ever seen on there is called the Nook in St. Paul Minnesota. I'll be heading there if I ever find myself in Minny. The place is run by a couple 20 somethings and they just have massive, awesome looking burgers.

Every time I see that show I want to put together a road trip centered around checking out old-time style diners around the midwest.

Maybe I misused the word "gourmet" here.

I love the old places that have 80-year-old chili recipes or 12-layer hamburgers or such. What I meant was that a place serving Chilean sea bass over penne has no place on that show (for me), no matter how small or old the building it's made is in. Gimme grease and lots of it!!

I get you. I'm still interested in the places serving the more gourmet foods, but yeah, my main appeal is the greasy spoons.

They had a place on their one time that deep fries their hamburgers. They apparently are still frying in the same grease since like the 1920's. They just filter it and let it go...sounds kinda disgusting to me, but the people on the show loved 'em, saying they go their multiple times a week.

Wow, that's interesting. I'm trying to remember what Graham Bunn looked like. Did he play during DD's tenure? I wonder if they'll mention that he was a former BG falcon on the show? BG is starting to be a nice starting point for former athletes getting on tv. We have Luke Zachrich who was on Spike's Ultimate Fighter show and now a falcon on the Bachlorette , where will we see a more falcon athlete next?

I wouldn't have a problem with the gourmet if there weren't enough of those on Food Network already. "Dives" is a great way to get away from that.

I remember the old grease show. It's in Memphis, I think. Getting back to the BG angle, I think an "Insomniac"-type show featuring late night college food would be awesome.

Corner Grill, Myles, Pollyeyes... plenty of good ones for that show.

Graham Bunn was not very good when he played here. I can't believe that he plays professional basketball.
