Dakich let go by IU
Dan was let go this AM. $180,000 and free to pursue other options.
Good luck to him.
Good luck to him.

Yes, and Cross is devastated - he never dreamed he'd have the opportunity to pluck a gem like Dakich from the unemployment line or he would have waited. We did sign a couple recruits- two guards because God knows we need guards. 10 are simply not enough.Warthog wrote:I never agreed with all his tactics, but I will still wish DD good luck wherever he ends up.
Has the new coach at Toledo filled out his staff yet?

I feel a lot of sadness for DD right now. This has to be a very hard pill to swallow. I hope he ends up in a good situation.ZiggyZoomba wrote:Dan was let go this AM. $180,000 and free to pursue other options.

Maybe it's just my nature, but if somebody gave me $180k to NOT come back to work, it would be the happiest day of my life.

Man, they kicked him out of town too? Those Hoosiers certainly take their hoops seriously!BleedOrange wrote:Yeah, I know, I know. $180K is some coin. Maybe I just a gooey sap, but the man just got kicked out of his own home, and you know he had to have had high hopes to hang on. He'll spend that money long before he gets over this.
