Well if that is in fact the case then why bother bringing up the article and putting up a link that tells you nothing unless you have a subscription to that website? Just sayin.

Because some people might have said subscription. Not much different from posting Rivals or Scout links to those who may be able to use them.

Also, I don't think the post was Insider content when it was initially linked.

"In 2004-05, the team's best player, Germain Fitch, missed the final 10 games after suffering a career-ending knee injury during a postgame celebration."

I don't know how or why, but I somehow managed to read the article despite a lack of a subscription.

As was I, but now I can't read the whole thing. I think TG hit it on the head with what he said about the article

Hey Chuck, if someone subscribes to that site they sure as hell don't need to come here to find out about its links.

Btw, almost 9400 posts? Get a life. :)

Instead of feeding national media figures his litany of laughably phony excuses, he should admit his own errors in program management and express a willingness to change his ways.

DD is a dynamic personality and has proven he can win under the right circumstances and run a clean ship, but few athletic directors are going to take a chance on a coach who couldn't hold a roster together.

If he wants to get back into the game, he can't keep fooling himself about the reasons things turned sour.

Uh, since I was the idiot that started the thread, somehow I accessed the article without a subscription and did not realize that is was one of those assinine ESPN Insider articles. I profusely apologize for ESPN being a money grubbing cash whore by creating the Insider portion of their crappy website.
