Can Chris Knight make first team?

Do you guys think Chris Knight can make first team MAC this year? He was hot and cold last year at times. He will have a year of college basketball under his belt. After not making any all-conference teams I know he is hungry to show that he belongs. I think he will play with a larger sense of urgency this year. I also expect him to be a leader this season for the incoming freshman. He is healthy, last season he suffered from shin splints and still almost averaged a double-double and let the team in rebounding.

He's got a good chance to make one of the All MAC teams, First Team is probably within reach. He's an outstanding athlete, and a good rebounder. He's probably the best natural rebounder we've seen at BG in quite some time, actually.
He needs to get a little more aggressive on the offensive end. Last year it looked like he could beat his man in the post most of the time and he had a very good turn around shot, but he didn't go to that shot often enough. Sometimes he seemed content to wait on the perimeter and hoist outside jumpers, and that is not his strong suit.
If he gets more aggressive offensively, I think he's got the ability to be a first team all MAC player. It may not happen for him as a sophomore, but it's certainly a possibility.

Thats 11 from the 3 categories last year, including 2 first teamers and a second teamer who will be the focus for his team this year.
2 spots are open. Id love to see it but I am just not sure that this will be the year for him. What might help is that it looks like they try to have big men. Of the 11...

It all depends on whether or not he can come back from that German wheel injury. I saw him on the first episode of "Celebrity Circus," and he took a pretty hard fall off of that thing.

With the departure of Williams, Reitz and Politz, Nate has to be a lock for 1st team. He has to be in the top two/three post players in the MAC this year. I'm calling double digit double-doubles this year. OU's Tillman might be the only one I would take over Nate, and he scuffled down the stretch last year. If he stays healthy, Nate's going to have a big year.

Knight needs to play mean and hungry like he did v. UC. If he can maintain that tenacity, he's clearly a MAC POTY candidate.
If he stays flaccid like he was most of last year, he'll be an average player and no more.
