Since it's out in the open....Coach Orr casually mentioned the OSU game at the Cleveland Barnstorming Stop in June.

If BG wins, the Falcons and Bucks will be tied 3-3 in the all time series. Care to guess where every game has been played so far?

GO BG!

I believe that would be March 30, in Detroit Michigan, Ford Field to be exact.

I wouldn't mind getting on Indiana's schedule this year. I think the Hoosiers only have one returning scholarship player back this season after the mess they went threw this past year. This would certainly be the year to land on IU's schedule if there ever was one.

I completely agree. Ohio University played and beat North Carolina in 2002 (the year they finished 8-20) and they are still using that win today in promotional materials and recruiting.

Does anyone think we have a chance at beating the Buckeyes? I know they a highly touted recruiting class with BJ Mullens a seven footer from Canal Winchester. And they do have a good nucleus of their players returning, but so do we. If we play like we did against UC, Ohio, and Kent I think we can beat anybody.

I'm very optimistic about this season, but I'm not going to say "I think we can beat ANYBODY quite yet.

I was at St. John's Arena in December 1983 when the Falcons beat the Bucks. I was sitting in the seats of public address announcer Ron Althoff and a guy told me to move because he knew Mr. Althoff and nobody in his seats would be rooting form BGSU.

So, did you move?

I think BG will be capable of beating OSU but we need to improve DRASTICALLY on the road this season to have a shot. OSU isn't going to be a slouch...IMO, as long as Matta is there, they will be a tough team.

renorvis, that was a joke. I was actually just trying to screw with Falconboy again, and anyone here can explain to you what the "when do we play Michigan this year?" joke is all about.

It certainly wasn't anything personal. I would have included some form of a smiley, but then I would have risked letting Falconboy in on the joke sooner, and that just wouldn't be any fun for anybody.

The Buckeyes lost their 3 top scorers from last year's team, but they will be pretty good this year with Evan Turner, David Lighty, and BJ Mullens leading the way. I'm not sure about the rest of their recruiting class, but Mullens is a projected lottery pick (maybe even top 5). Winning in Columbus will certainly be a challenge, but it will be better to get the Buckeyes early in the season than later. Hopefully I will get to see a Falcon upset.

Hey, Findlay beat OSU in CBus last year ... maybe another NW Ohio team could do the same!
