After talking with Coach Orr, not the only kid from the FIndlay area that BG is looking at. The other one would also be a good get and is only going into his junior season. If BG can get both guys, what a great backcourt we could have.

Is he a 1 or 2? At 6-1 the rebounding statistic is not worth much at the next level, what about his assists?

Saw Krauss play against Lima Shawnee last year. He was always looking to shoot and a pretty good scorer. Didn't see much defense, but a very active kid. At the time, I thought he would be a Division 1 player...and I watched Jamar Butler for 4 years at Shawnee. Not a Jamar Butler, but a pretty nice player.

The other Findlay area kid is the Craft boy from Liberty-Benton. We have already offered, as well as some other MAC schools. But, he has also been offered by Tennessee. Plays both football and basketball with the latter his favorite.

Against who? Its been awhile since I've raised this but there is NO Lima Shawnee. Didn't Butler's brother play for Sahwnee last year?[/i]

BG, Miami, Dayton and apparently Tennessee have offered.

So, if we get this kid, how many schollies would we have left? Don't answer that.

With all the guards I guess we will play a more transition style of basketball then. If anyone remembers last season when we had success it was scoring in transition and playing full court defense.

I'm a software developer by trade. So, I am thinking of writing a Google Gadget that Globetrotter could install to his Google toolbar right next to the spell checker. I'd call it the Falcon Scholarship Calculator. Globe could select the Falcon sport from a drop down, and the gadget thingy would return the number or range. No pencil or paper. No forms to fill out. No confusing instructions. No math.

You are such a hypocrite. 2 schollies are up in the air. 3 now that you mention it. Its an ever changing situation. Not black and white. We went over this before.

I use the falconboy method for calculating schollies left: You count the kids currently on schollie and subtract that from the maximum and then assume that we don't have enough schollies left to get anyone good......
