This story does not sound right. Did he even have intercourse with her or not. How could the girl not know that Goodsen was not her boyfriend? I hope he is not convicted and we do not rescind his scholly because he is a heck of a player. That does not excuse his behavior or lack thereof.

Ugh. I really hope that Goodsen did nothing here, but if it does pan out that he did do something, he's gone , no schollie end of story. Gosh, somebody tell this kids to use their brains.

FWIW, most of the people commenting believe something's rather fishy with the girl's story but we shall see.

I'm not sure why a girl would make a story like this up. Even if it's not 100% true it sure shows some character about this kid.....

The criminal justice system would work so much faster if the whole "due process" part was just skipped over and judgements could be made based on incendairy newspaper headlines, wouldn't it?

People fabricate, stretch, exaggerate, etc., for any number of reasons.
The only thing that shows character about the kid is WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED, and ONLY that.

I'm not saying it happened in this situation but this happened to a friend of mine. He slept with this girl, he didn't know the girl had a boyfriend. When the boyfriend found out she slept with another guy, she said it was rape. Eventually when the police got involved she admitted that she lied because she didn't want to lose her boyfriend.

Innocent until proven guilty...
