Highlights from the Tip Off Dinner last night:

- Coach Miller is confident in his team this year.
- Lindsay Goldsberry has a chance to be the winningest player in MAC
history with 24 wins this year.
- Coach Miller likes to point out the 4-peat to his counterparts.

- The mens looks like the enjoy being around one another, joking and
having fun at the dinner.
- The players have the highest respect for the coaches.
- Miller and Orr had issues this past summer, but have moved beyond
them.
- The players looked in great shape, especially Eric and Otis, who both
have dropped weight.
- Coach Jackson should do stand-up with Brian Moten opening.
- The team has enough players this year that the coaches don't have to
practice.

- The chicken was awesome. The lasagna, not so much.

I think this team is going to be fairly good this year. I don't think we will be looking at a 3-13 or .500 team this year. Coach Orr even said "when we play in the NCAA tourney this year." Completely different posture and attitude on the team. Can't wait to see the scrimage tomorrow.

Those who were there, please add your thoughts on the night.

I'm definitely excited about this year's team after going to the dinner. One big thing that stood out was that coach Jackson stated that he thought Adrion Graves (transfer from Xavier) has a chance to be a MAC player of the year type of player. That's saying something for a coach to say that at at a social setting like that. I think both transfers will be playing in the scrimmage this Saturday.
