Minnesota NBA Lineage
Found this interesting tidbit in "Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook" about Minnesota. Of there 5 man outstanding recruits this year, three are offsprings of former NBA players. They are 6'11" 220 lb. Ralph Sampson III as expected the son of NBA great and better college player of the same name; 6'10" 250 lb. Colton Iverson, the son of former Supersonic Chuck Iverson; and 6'8" Paul Carter, son of former Laker Ron Carter. Minnesota lost therir top three scorers from last year and are a young team. Hopefully, they will still be jelling but they have some great size and pedigree.
Cool. I don't have to bother watching it, the outcome has been decided!Falconboy wrote:Yeah, we won't win this but it be nice to just play well, no injuries and keep it respectable.

I'd give us a mild chance if we had Miller and Knight , without those two we just don't have the size and depth to compete with Minny. A win by us would be a most pleasant surprise. I just see us play well. Just cuz I don't have high expectations of a win here doesn't mean I'm not excited for this season.TG1996 wrote:Cool.
