BG loses 67-65 on a tip at the (almost) buzzer.
Blew an 11 point lead with 8 left. That's a trend I'd like to see stop.

Boy, resembles maybe..rr. uh...an Eastern Mich loss at home in football or a Savannah State loss earlier this year....man oh man. 7 minutes played for Knight and 29 minutes for Larson? Ouch now I'm beginning to figure this loss out....and 22 minutes for JAKUBOWSKI!!!! Please advise on these facts---"for the love of ______."

Think that he might be trying to get Knight to leave?
But we only have at most 5 schollies to give.

I believe Jakubowski missed most of the first half due to picking up a couple of quick fouls. He played most of the second half.

Clements 0-3 shooting in 26 minutes? 3 shots? Come on.....

At the last home game, Mr. Knight couldn't find the basket on a foul shot with a GPS. If the game is close- it is almost a guaranteed turnover..
But then, I usually think the Coach plays the players that have worked the hardest and will put us in a position to win.

Larson might be a hard worker, but 29 minutes? Marcshall only had 22 minutes. Polk had even less. Larson is barely a D1 talent.
I have no idea what's going on with Knight. I doubt that Orr is trying to get him to leave. He can be passive and lackadaisical. Maybe coach is trying to light a fire under his butt by not just handing him back his spot based on last year's numbers. Or, maybe he's a candidate to become academically ineligible. If that isn't it, then there's something unusual going on that we know nothing about.

SOB!!! Is this the year for close, heart-breaking losses for BG or what? First it was football with EMU, Miami and Buffalo....now it's on to hoops with Ohio State, Savannah State and now Central Arkansas. We have got to find ways to close out these games!

BG led nearly the entire game as Central Arkansas didn't take its first lead until 1:20 to go in the game:

FIRE ORR!!!!!
Ha Ha, just kidding. We're gonna go through some growing pains this season. Anyone who actually had NCAA tourney aspirations should put that thought on the shelf for at least another year. I'll take a .500 season.

Damn...just found out the score and what happened. BG could EASILY be 7-2 or so. The Ill State game is the only game so far BG wasn't in a position to win.
Need to find a way to win these games down the stretch. UGH!!

You're right Rollo...Dakich would have taken a beating. Personally, I think Marschall should be playing all of the time unless he needs a rest or he's in foul trouble. I don't get it. With these late game collapses, maybe it's their conditioning? Like everyone was saying our problem was in football?

Not even close to truth.
