Miami has a couple name wins. Beat Purdue in Oxford, but Purdue wasn't expected to be very good, according to my Street and Smith's. But tonight they won relatively easy @ Xavier, who lost their coach and a couple NBA guys, but was picked by S&S for second in the A-10 West. Does anybody know more about Xavier? It looks like Miami might have a good club.

Miami is no doubt off to the best start in the MAC in men's hoops. I'll take a 2-0 start to a season with wins over Purdue and Xavier any day....or year for that matter!

In case any one was curious, Eric Pollitz injured his shoulder and is not playing right now, while Tim Pollitz has not played in either game thus far.
