10, 988 in attendance. That was the announced attendance down at the Convo.
AT BG rate of 1500 per game, it would take us 7 games to reach that total.

How does Athens get 11,000 and we can hardly get 2,000?

apparently it was "Dad's weekend" at Athens?

"...
The loss was Ohio's first home loss of the year in a game that will likely serve as the Bobcats' best attendance of the year. With the University celebrating Dads' Weekend, attendance was listed as 10,988, almost 4,000 more than any other Ohio home game this year, but the Bobcats lost at home for just the second time in the last 23 contests.

Still, I couldn't imagine us even getting 7,000 if we hosted a MAC championship game? How big is Athens, anyway?

Well thats because AA doesn't hold that much.
The Convo at OU has 13000 to 14000 seats, somewhere in that range

Do you think we would get more than 2,000 a game if Anderson held 11,000?

OU has a long tradition of drawing big at home...no other team in the MAC is currently even close. Yes, there is nothing to do there, but attending hoops is in their DNA.

Out of pure curiosity why was a thread about how many people OU drew to the game more important than BG earning a tough road win?

Because Bowling Green fans would much rather complain than praise or celebrate. Haven't you figured that out yet??
